Ms. Jessie graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, Graduate School of Education with a M.S.Ed in Elementary Education. Prior to joining WIS, she taught both 1^st and 2^nd grade in the United States.

As a homeroom teacher, Ms. Jessie will cultivate a classroom where every student is challenged and known. She believes that relationship is the foundation of everything teachers do.

“When we know our students beyond the surface level, we are better able to provide relevant and meaningful instruction that engages all students because they know we care and understand them. In turn, these relationships allow us to challenge and push our students to become better learners and individuals everyday with differentiated support. Ultimately, building a classroom where every student is known, challenged, and loved daily is an extremely important value to me as a teacher.”
