Suki’s Story
Ms. Ding is a passionate art teacher who has been dedicated to art education for ten years. Her journey began during her student days when she participated in teaching internships at her school. Since her first experience teaching students, she has worked with a wide range of age groups, from elementary to high school. Her extensive K-12 teaching experience has shaped her philosophy of “lifelong art education.” Over the past three years, she has taught the MYP curriculum at an international school and has presented her research at the IB China Annual Conference. Additionally, her work has been published in core academic journals, and her papers have been featured multiple times. Throughout her teaching career, the most rewarding aspect for her has been the feedback from her students. In her classroom, the idea that “everyone is an artist” is more than just a slogan or declaration; it is a guiding principle.
Beyond her teaching, Ms. Ding is also an artist who finds inspiration through travel. She enjoys engaging with different people, exploring local art, and bringing these inspirations back to the classroom, where she leads students to experience the true essence of world art.
