WIS strongly believes in not only offering a rigorous academic and enrichment program in English, but we believe that all students must also understand and appreciate the real essence of the Chinese culture and language.

WIS has developed a unique and rich Chinese language and culture program to develop our students’ strong cultural connections while receiving the highest quality Mandarin language instruction.

Chinese culture is embedded throughout the school through our IB enhanced global curriculum and within the Chinese language classrooms. Students participate in excursions, field trips, and a number of cultural activities including brush painting, calligraphy, and Chinese literature.
