Welcome to the new academic year at Wahaha International School! We’re excited to introduce our incredible team of new and returning teachers, each bringing unique talents and a shared passion for education.
Notably, over 75% of our new teachers hold Master’s Degrees, and most have been dedicated to the field of education for more than a decade. Aligned with the mission of Wahaha International School, they are committed to educating, empowering, and encouraging students to become caring, confident, and responsible global citizens and life-long learners.
During Teachers Orientation Week, they participated in a variety of workshops to prepare for the exciting year ahead.
We have prepared a series of teacher training activities, including an introduction to WIS culture, sharing of the IB educational philosophy, and innovative workshops tailored to each grade and subject.
The new teachers also took part in the staff training organized by Wahaha Schools. During the session, Ms. Jane Du, the school’s founder, provided an in-depth overview of the school’s vision, mission, values and motto. The new teachers shared their personal motivations for pursuing education, and both new and experienced educators engaged in thoughtful discussions about the deeper meaning of teaching.
Notably, this year’s welcome dinner took place on a cruise, where educators from around the world enjoyed the stunning night scenery along the Qiantang River.
