Daria’s Story
Daria received her bachelor’s degree in Art Practice from the University of California, Berkeley, and her master’s degree in Design for Change from the University of Edinburgh. She will be pursuing her PhD in Visual Art. Her years of school teaching experience and extensive knowledge of art give her the advantage to work in the fertile ground of art education.
Daria holds an IB qualification and has five years of teaching experience, and is familiar with multi-disciplinary collaborative teaching. She had successfully led students to enter world-famous art universities. She believes that ART is a tool for students to discover the world, explore the world, and transform the world. She is committed to cultivating children to think like artists, to be responsible like global citizens, and to lead children to use artistic thinking to investigate and solve problems.
Daria takes lifelong learning as her goal because only through continuous learning can gain growth. In her teaching career, she brings sufficient warmth, inexhaustible motivation, and full of enthusiasm to help them achieve an artistic life.
