Jenae’s Story
Ms. Jenae completed her undergraduate studies at Zhejiang Normal University. During her undergraduate years, she participated in an exchange program at Kaohsiung Normal University in Taiwan to study education and also studied educational research methods at Ohio State University as a visiting scholar. Subsequently, she obtained a master’s degree in primary education from UCL, which laid the foundation for her future career in educational teaching and learning.
Ms. Jenae has worked in an IB school for four years. She was the head of the G2 math preparation team and has been rewarded as an “outstanding coach” for MK and AMC maths competitions in the last three years. In her spare time, Jenae also participates in sports, loves to travel, and can play the Guzheng.
“Loving children is the most important thing in a teacher’s life”–Suhomlinski. During her international education background and working experience, she has devoted herself to the mathematics education of PYP students, especially in the area of maths competitions and mind development courses.
