Grade 2A & 2B went to Hefang Pottery Workshop on May 13th, where they made their own various creations with clay. The students were able to use pottery wheels and paint glaze on a variety of different art pieces that were at the workshop. This is a great example of outside-the-classroom learning for the students to experience hands-on the influence and history of the Southern Song pottery and porcelain in Chinese Culture.
