Music is the study and exploration of sound and expressive use of elements, through the singing of songs and playing of instruments. Through singing and playing instruments, they will develop the ability to perform accurately and confidently, making expressive use of musical elements. While they are building their general music knowledge foundation, Grade 4 is starting the “Recorder Karate” course, Grade 5 is learning the guitar. The MYP students are exploring and learning about pop music and different musical instruments. They are also working on “The Cup Song” project, “Pop music performing & presentation”. The key concept they are working on our communication skills.
