On May 15th grades 1A & 1B went to Yixin Workshop where they were able to learn about the tie dye process; work with silk scarves, and dye them individually to take home. They truly enjoyed the experience of stirring the dyes and making a variety of patterns and color blends – hands-on learning of the influence and history of the Silk Road in Chinese Culture.
