Grades 1, 2 & 3 have worked within animal classifications, habitats and needs to create super animals. The purpose of this project was to work on group collaboration and creativity. The students worked in pairs and small groups to describe their animal, describe their animal’s adaptations and then create a 3D model and poster of their super animal along with a written summary that will be combined through technology as a presentation. It was wonderful to see the students working with each other and overcoming differences to complete the project. Acknowledging each other’s strengths and weakness to help complete a finalized product.
