The Sixth Graders conducted an oral survey of teachers and other staff during their Ancient Egypt unit. The students asked participants “What do you think of yourself as…” then matched them up with the Egyptian god closest to their answer. Here are some of their results.
Anubis: Mr. Alex and Ms. Phoebe

Anubis: the principal god of the dead, in charge of weighing the soul in Afterlife i.e. balance
Hathor: Ms. Lindsey, Ms Mandy, Ms Nancy and Jessica

Hathor: Protective Goddess of love, festivals, music and happiness
Ra: Mr. Jon-Jon and David

Ra: the “all” powerful Sun god
